What is an SBR Tax Code?

< 1 min read

The tax code SBR stands for Scottish Basic Rate. It is used when your entire income from a job or pension is taxed at the Scottish basic rate of income tax. This usually happens if it’s a second job or pension, and you’ve already used your tax-free allowance elsewhere.
